Our initial production check (IPC) is an examination of components, materials and product quality at the start of production to foresee risks and prevent resources being wasted. After product samples are provided, we will verify that correct materials, components and accessories have been ordered by the factory to your specifications. We will randomly select and inspect a sample of partially produced products for potential defects, then report our findings to you.
The objective of an Initial Production Inspection, or Pre Production Inspection, is to identify defective materials or components prior to the production process, thereby minimizing the risk of non-conformities and allowing for timely corrections where necessary. It can also identify if your vendor has correctly understood your order, avoiding miscommunication and ensuring that any deviations from the customer’s specifications are addressed early.
